FIRST FORM I APTITUDE TEST TO BE HELD ON 27 AUGUST 2011 |

As stated in our main placement, the first Aptitude Test for the Form I intake in 2012 will be held at the School on Saturday 27 August 2011. Candidates should come with 2 passport size photographs and T Shs 20,000/= nonrefundable examination fee. You may download an application form elsewhere on this website or you can obtain one at the School on the examination. Please arrive early (from 8am) for these preliminaries.
Arrangements fr the Pre-Form I Program are being finalised, with tentative plans for a 5-week course beginning about the third week of November 2011. More information will be provided here as it evolves. |

NECTA 2011: Excellent Results for Eagles in National Form IV and Zonal Form II Examinations |

We are delighted to announce that Eagles Secondary School performed excellently in the 2011 National Form 4 examinations. This was the second time that our School had participated in these examinations. Another milestone achieved is that while last year we had only 31 students (and so were evaluated only in the lower-tier league of Schools with 35 students or less), this year we had 46 candidates and so entered the big league for the first time. The results exceeded our most optimistic expectations and many thanks gor to the Headmaster and his academic staff, all supporting staff and the directors of the School.
Most of all, congratulations to our boys for a job well done. Here is a summary of their performance:
- There were 46 students who sat, out of whom 45 (97.8%) passed. The Centre GPA score was 2.8335.
- Out of the 46 students, 12 got Division 1 and12 got Division 2. There were 13 students getting Division 3 and 8 in Division 4. One student failed.
- Eagles came 4th in Pwani Region, out of 91schools.
- Nationally, Eagles was Number 54 out of 3,196 schools in Tanzania
NACTE Form II Examinations, Eastern Zone
It is also with great pride that we report the results of the Zonal Examinations that were announced about the same time as the National Form IV exams. Our flying eagles performed equally well, achieving 10th rank overall, out of 327 schools in the Eastern Zone. All our 82 students passed, 2 of them scoring grade "A"; 60 getting grade "B", 19 grade "C" and only one ending with a "D". Notable positions were 2nd in Additional maths; 6th in Bookkeeping; 7th in Computer Studies and in History; 8th in Civics and in Commerce; 10th in English Language; and 11th in Geography and in Basic Maths. Special mention must be made of Norman Karamaga who obtained a perfect score (100%) in Biology.

APTITUDE TESTS AND PRE-FORM I SCHOOL FOR 2012 |

The School is pleased to announce a series of aptitude tests in preparation for the 2012 School Year. These will be held in conjunction with a Pre-Form I program that successful candidates will join. The Pre-Form I program will as well be suitable for 2011 primary school leavers - even if they do not wish to join our School eventually - as it will prepare them for their future careers or studies in other schools. Details for the Pre-Form I School will be finalised and announced in due course.
Aptitude tests have been set as follows: first aptitude test on 27 August 2011; second aptitude test 1 October 2011; and the third will be held on 5 November 2011. All tests will be held at the School in Bagamoyo, on a Saturday, and candidates are required to arrive by 08:00am for preparatory chores. Please come with 2 passport-size photographs and a Shs 20,000 nonrefundable fee.
