THE Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has honoured Eagles Secondary School as best school for its outstanding performance in the national examination results for Form Four in 2013 and 2014, it has been revealed.
Former Education Minister, Dr Shukuru Kawambwa issued three awards, two golden trophies and certificate of commendation, to the school as the Best Performing School for the year 2013 and Best Performing School for Non Government Schools for the year 2014.

The School Manager, Mr Francis Tabaro, said in a statement issued in Dar es Salaam yesterday that the District Education Officer, Ms Eliza Ngonyani, handed over the two awards to the school management on behalf of Dr Kawambwa, at a colourful function held in the city two weeks ago.
One of the awards reads, "The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training proudly awards Eagles Secondary School for being one of the best performing Non Government Schools in the 2014 Certificate of Secondary Examination results."

NECTA's 2013 results confirm the firm path that Eagles Secondary School has taken towards national excelency. With a GPA score of 2.1503, Eagles was ranked 30 (out of 3256) in the Nation and 3 (out of 105) in Pwani Region, just behind Marian Boys and Girls at 1 and 2 respectively, ahead of Kibaha and Baobab at 4 and 5.
The School is pleased to announce that there are still places available for A-level students. After the vicissititudes of the recent NECTA examinations which left a lot to be desired and resulted in lost momentum, we at Eagles Secondary School are still steadfast in our Mission to prepare our Nation's leaders for tomorow. We still have an excellent and well motivated core of academic staff led by a new energetic young Management Team.
